Year 5 Song Bank

Over the last few weeks, our Year 5 children have taken part in a SONGBANK songwriting project with The Bank of Dreams and Nightmares. During the sessions, the children wrote lyrics and poetry, explored a range of strange and interesting vocal sounds, and learned how these could be used creatively to make songs.

As part of the project, the children were very lucky to visit Echotown Recording Studios, a professional, purpose-built recording studio just outside Dorchester. During this exciting visit, the children had the opportunity to record their own original creations.
