Bridport Youth Parliament Visit

Tommy and Ondine recently represented our School Council at the Bridport Youth Parliament. Each school delivered a two-minute speech either for or against mobile phones in schools, followed by a vote after all arguments were summarised.

The final result  was 14 in favour (with restrictions) and 5 against. The presentations will be shared with Dorset County Council and will contribute to shaping future mobile phone policies across Dorset schools. It was a great experience for our pupils, and encouraging for them to know that their voices can make a real difference.
