On Monday 31st, children in Years 1 – 6 participated in a Poppies & Poetry workshop run by West End in Schools. During the workshop, the children created scenes that weaved together poetry, interviews with soldiers, and personal accounts from the different people involved. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and school received a lovely email from the co-ordinator afterwards praising all of the children for their excellent behaviour and sensible attitude throughout.
