Community Links

Church Links
As a Church School, we have strong links with our local churches, particularly Holy Trinity Church, Salway Ash which is directly across the road from our school.

We use the church for services and activities based around the church calendar which helps the children to grow familiar with being in the church building and participating in church worship as well as collective worship times within school.

Village Community
We are proud to be a part of a thriving village community.

Each month a representative from the school, be that a member of the school council, other pupil, member of staff or governor contribute an article to the parish magazine informing local people of what is going on within the school and inviting them to be involved wherever possible.

We are very fortunate to be invited to participate in events such as village fetes. The school PTA always endeavors to support these events with fundraising efforts and we are very grateful for the support and financial gifts which we receive in return.

A great many of our children, staff and governors attend Church services, Sunday School, Village Hall Events and community breakfasts and take part in the village pantomime.

Our local businesses are often generous in donating and attending school fundraisers and often welcome school children on educational visits.

We are always keen to be involved with community and charity events.

Our recent participation in the Swimarathon benefitted our school as the Lions Club very generously donated some of the money raised to our new library books.

Kelci's Dance Academy.

Our hall is  hired by local young business woman Kelci Poole for her dance academy providing dance instruction  for both adults and children from the local area.
