New trees from the woodland trust

14th November 2016
The woodland trust have very generously donated trees to our school to allow us to construct a hedge to shield our car park from the surrounding area of natural beauty. We are conscious that living in such an area we are responsible for preserving it for our neighbours.
The new saplings are all native British trees and should quickly establish themselves as an attractive addition to our school grounds.
A band of willing volunteer parents and governors joined Mrs Phillips and spent a morning planting all the trees for us and even had a few left over for other areas. We are very grateful to those parents for their support and hard work.
