Gardening and Soup Club

The Gardening club work very hard throughout the summer to keep our flower beds, conservation area and vegetable patch flourishing. There is a great deal of weeding and planting to be done as our outside space is quite extensive.
Mrs Phillips runs gardening club on a Monday after school until 4.15pm.

Once the weather becomes too cold and the gardens less productive the older children of gardening club use some of the produce they have grown along with a few other ingredients to make a hot and wholesome soup to sell at breaktime to the rest of the school. Soup only costs 20p a cup and is very gratefully received on cold winter days.
